We annually appoint between four to eight candidate attorneys, and have a complement of approximately 14 candidate attorneys at any given time. These candidates are rotated between our different departments on a six month basis, in order to ensure a balanced exposure to the fields of law practised in our firm.

Tuks Law Career Day – Law Careers

Every year our firm participates in the annual Tuks Law Career Day, showcasing our commitment towards actively assisting in growing the country’s law students’ skills and expertise. We are proud to support our upcoming young professionals, and therefore also host a vacation program to further develop their practical training. Keep an eye out for our exhibition at the annual Tuks Law Career Day every year!

Vacation Program

The Vacation Program is held annually during the July University Holidays. We invite approximately 10 University students in their penultimate year to attend our vacation program, to expose them to the daily running of a law firm, develop their interest in the practice of law and broaden their knowledge and skills on a practical basis.

During the vacation program, the invited students can expect to attend court as well as consultations with counsel and clients together with the professional staff of our firm. We endeavour to grant these students an opportunity to experience trials, motions, pre-trial conferences and all the other elements which go along with general attorney practice. These students will also receive preference in our interviewing process for candidate attorneys, having had an opportunity to show us their commitment and skills. To apply for participation in the vacation program please forward your Curriculum Vitae to the following e-mail address: enquiries@savage.co.za
